[It always seems to be like this. Every moment she thinks she has some semblance of control, some knowledge that she knows what she's doing, Lup disrupts it so easily. She doesn't even need or want to step back, but her shoulders are brushing the door, her heart beating faster as Lup toys with the edge of the robe. She hadn't-- hadn't even thought about this. Was in no way prepared for this, because how could she be? Lup has always been more like a force of nature than just a person. Magic may have existed in the flames she wreathed around herself like air, but Lucretia always felt it more potently here, when just the barest touch of her fingers made her head swim and her throat dry.
She doesn't go to fix her clothes, though. Doesn't make a move to disturb this, to burst this bubble of what she has.
Even if she still has no idea how to answer.
Lup always wins these things.]
Of course. Of course you would do this.
[It's not indignant, or pushy, but she knows she looks flustered in a way Lup may have been hoping for.]
I'm not sure there's... so many deets. I just... I like. Seeing you. I like when you're around, and uhm, when you take time to... see me. Just the two of us.
[Fuck, why can't she be a little smooth, why does Lup reduce her to this so often and so easily?]
[Lucretia's spot on, naturally, if Lup's wide, toothy grin says anything. She's careful not to let any part of their bodies touch, but the elf very purposely lets her eyes fall to Lucretia's lips, watching the other woman's mouth almost hungrily, before she's flicking her gaze back upwards with a smirk. She gives another tug to the tie before she's releasing it in favor of pushing her other hand up against the door, just an inch away from Lucretia's hip, arm so close to brushing against her.
She's good and trapped now, boxed in by the elf.]
Just the two of us, huh? Tell me more.
[Lucretia isn't going to get away with just that. Lup hasn't let her off easy in anything yet, it's not about to happen now.]
C'mon, Luce. You're the one with all the words. Paint me a picture.
[She feels like her heart is about to burst out of her chest, like her pulse is so loud the other woman can hear it from her proximity. Lucretia bites her bottom lip for just a moment, like this is a test in not throwing herself at Lup's feet, of not pressing her hands into Lup's skin and never ever letting go. A shiver runs down her spine, at tell me more, swallows hard at her request, but she's stuck between surging forward and kissing the other woman silly and a stubbornness that makes her not want to lose.
She can do this. Lucretia knows she isn't the blushing woman she was before cycle 65, but more than that she isn't the quiet woman she was before Madame Director. She can stand her ground. She can push back.
So she does.
Lucretia narrows her eyes a bit, lets the edge of her mouth pull up into a grin.
Let's go.]
I'm happy that you want to come spend time with me. I used to fantasize about this, you know. About you finding reasons to come see me, and they were all thinly veiled excuses for this. To sneak away and press me against a wall and kiss me until I couldn't breathe.
[She shifts her shoulders in increments, hands flat against the door now, pushing herself forward but not touching Lup's face as she tilts up to look at her. This is still the most embarrassing thing she's ever done, but her want to win is outweighing her shame.]
I still think about it. I see you and feel my heart beat faster, think about the feeling of your lips on mine, how your hands feel holding me. I think about the feeling of my fingers in your hair and your soft skin and when I can surprise you how you gasp and whine when I'm not paying enough attention or when I'm not touching you like you want.
[She raises an eyebrow, watching Lup's face intently for her reaction.]
[Lucretia looks beautiful like this, backed up against the door in her robe, biting at her lip and shivering beneath Lup, like she's a human-shaped package just waiting for the elf to swoop in and slowly unwrap. Lup's eyes fall to the other woman's mouth, watching her lips with piqued interest, both of her ears perked upwards, like Lucretia's about to break at any moment, to talk herself out of this game and just throw herself right into Lup's arms.
But somehow, she doesn't fall apart completely beneath the elf's intense stare. Somehow, she holds her ground and does just what Lup doesn't expect.
She grins at Lup and speaks.
And what she has to say is so surprisingly honest, laying her private fantasies out between them, putting down everything that Lup asked for but never expected. It wipes some of the smugness out of her smirk, leaves her mouth slightly parted in shock, perfect brows arched upwards towards her bangs. This is an openness in her feelings and wants that Lup hasn't seen from Lucretia since that truth event, when they'd been forced to speak against their will. But this time around, Lucretia's telling Lup because she asked her too.
And holy hell, it's hot.]
Fuck, Luce... Did you really? Think about me like that? Want me all to yourself? That's--
[Lucretia's just looking at her so expectantly and Lup usually loves dragging those looks out, but even she has to accept there's no chance of her winning this particular game. She can be surly about it later. Cause right now, all she wants is to touch the other woman, so she does just that, one hand slipping over to cup Lucretia's cheek before she's tipping forward to kiss her, fierce and fiery, not a touch of restraint left within her.]
[It feels almost foreign to have risen to this challenge, to have met Lup where she stands. Every time she would imagine something like this, she was always younger, back on the ship, with the bravery that came with surviving cycle 65 but not the wisdom she gained as Madame Director. Not the unflappable stone face she needed to adopt to accomplish her task. This is a surprise even to her, not that she can conjure these words, but that she can say them, like taking pieces of herself from the shield she needed to build and making it into something entirely new.
It's worth it, though, when Lup loses that edge, when she curses in disbelief, and Lucretia thanks every god she knows when their lips meet.
Immediately, Lucretia's hands slide upwards, starting at the back of Lup's jaw and moving back, over her ears until her hands hit soft hair she can tangle her fingers into. Lup has come to her, but that won't stop Lucretia from tugging her close against her body, wondering if she feels lightheaded from the tightness of their embrace or the kiss in the first place.
Lucretia thinks she'd rather suffocate than let go, so it certainly doesn't matter.
Refusing to let go, she presses forward still, her chest flush against Lup's and her hands needy for more.]
[Lucretia, for once, has nothing to worry about. Lup doesn't plan on leaving anytime soon, not when there are so many sweet kisses to be shared between them.
The other woman presses forward and Lup grins against her mouth, lips curling even as she kisses her, a hand slipping down to rest at Lucretia's curved hip. Even pressed up together this close, their mouths completely wrapped up in one another, Lup still has to speak, to vocalize the thoughts running wild through her head.]
You're so gorgeous, Luce. [It's mumbled against Lucretia's lips, Lup's eyes half-lidded while she watches her, committing that beautiful face to memory.] Always been hot, 'course, but like, you're a total babe now. Got that silver fox thing goin' on. S'super hot.
[Maybe not the most romantic words ever spoken, but they're honest and the most Lup can offer so soon into this.]
[Lucretia doesn't have any thoughts at all when Lup finally brings their mouths apart to speak, finding herself unable to do much more than gasp in air and breathe as the other woman speaks. It's intoxicating, getting to be exactly where she's dreamed of, under Lup's careful hands, feeling like she's about to fall apart. Her cheeks feel flushed, body already warm, almost certain Lup can hear the patter of her heart with their bodies this close.]
Lup, I... I didn't-- I never thought we'd. This, and--
[Gods, she has no words but she doesn't even want them right now. For all the importance she places on having the right thing to say, right now all she wants is to be breathless and formless, shaped in Lup's hands into something for her and only her. It's only a moment before she presses forward again, hungry for her touch, craving to feel her soft lips again.
She doesn't break to speak, or even much to breathe, but every time their lips separate Lup will find a whisper of her name still ghosted on Lucretia's mouth.]
[There's no hiding the way Lup's mouth curls against Lucretia's at her failing words, how the woman who always had the right words for everything can't quite control her tongue beneath Lup's lips. It's amusing, but also just so totally hot.
Lup finds her own name whispered over and over at Lucretia's lips, like she has to call her name or the elf might disappear on her, like she'll wake up and none of this will be real, even months after their first kiss in this place. Reluctantly, Lup finally drags herself off of the other woman, hands still touching her body as she pulls backwards just far enough to catch her breath, lips bruised and wet. Her tongue drags over her mouth, licking her lips, while her gaze can't quite tear itself away.
And then she smiles, the corner of her mouth bunching to the right.]
Not that I don't love what you've done with your door, but do you wanna get cozy elsewhere? Maybe give me the tour?
[Lucretia almost grabs at Lup again before she remembers herself, gathers just a bit of shame to not just cling to the other woman and never let go. Even then, Lup only moves as far as she needs to, and that doesn't force Lucretia to let go, hands tangled into her hair and mind already racing with everything she could be doing with that soft mouth other than talking.]
Well, I-- don't know how much tour there is. I mean, there's my desk, and...
[Wait.]
... You meant my bed, didn't you.
[She isn't moving though. Mostly because Lup is still pinning her pretty close and she's certainly not going to be one to push back. Instead, she snakes her leg forward, crooking a knee around Lup's.]
[It's that pause, then the slow realization of just what Lup meant that leaves the elf barking out a laugh, even as Lucretia crooks her knee around Lup's, making it so very clear that both of their wants are absolutely in-sync. Lup takes the moment to loosely wrap her arms around Lucretia's neck, grinning wide up at the other woman. She's still just as hungry for more kissing and closeness, but that doesn't mean she can't take a moment to tease her too.]
Point one for Lup, you mean? I'll take it. But c'mon - [And with her arms wrapped around Lucretia's neck, she gives the other woman a little tug, taking a step backwards and guiding her along with her.]
I wanna get personally acquainted with your bed. I have a feeling I'm gonna be seein' it a lot if you play your cards right.
[She still almost can't believe this is happening. That Lup is really here, in her arms, her lips still wet from were Lup kissed the hell out of her and it wasn't even close to enough to satisfy her. Her heart leaps in a bit of thrill as Lup teases, and she follows as she's brought forward, navigating herself gracefully in step even among a long hemline.]
Oh, here for the bed, then? I see. Well, it's a lovely oak frame, and a wonderful mattress made for space and support. I've enjoyed it a lot. If you want to see it up close--
[She's grinning, fully aware she's being a cheeky little shit right now, but also knowing Lup will probably stop her when she's done with the gag.]
[Lucretia grins, totally cheeky in the very best of ways, as Lup mirrors that look back, her mouth stretched out and her ears perked upright in silent mirth. There's no hesitation before Lup's dragging Lucretia right up to the bed so that she can shove the other woman down onto it.]
A wonderful mattress, huh?
[Lup doesn't follow her, but she does left a single knee to rest against the bed, careful and slow, like she's testing the mattress' quality. Her head tips to the side in mock thoughtfulness.]
Mmm, pretty nice. But not quite as nice as what's on it.
[Her heart leaps in her chest from excitement instead of fear as her feet leave the ground, falling back onto the bed before she props herself up. Oof, okay, that hurt just slightly. Her hips are not what they used to be, but-- 20 years, you know. She can push it off, rolls herself a bit over in a way that she hopes looks appealing. Still, the long robe pools over her legs, hiking up from the fall to her mid calf and still just barely tied at her waist.]
Well, that makes sense. I can't imagine something as lovely as you.
[Gods, Lup has really broken the dam here. Lucretia had previously been no words and no action, and she's-- still not the best on the action front, but at least she's talking like she has confidence.]
Or I mean-- it's. Everything's better with you.
[She can't handle this anymore and she reaches forward, trying to grab at Lup's arm to come down, come here.]
The elf stays where she is, perched there on the edge of the bed, just so she can watch the way Lucretia settles beneath her, the shift of her hips, the way her robe hikes just a little up along her bare leg. Nothing too revealing, nothing compared to Lup's usual attire, but the look on Lucretia leaves warmth pooling into her belly, heat trailing up her arms to her collarbone, up to the tips of her long ears.
And the look she aims down at the other woman? It's as if Lup wants to eat her alive.
But Lucretia reaches for her and Lup follows without hesitation, climbing up over the other woman, a hand snaking up to press her calloused palm to her cheek. When she smiles, the corners of her eyes crinkle.]
A whole different look but you're just as much of a nerd as before, huh? Look at you. I get you all flustered even now, don't I?
[It's times like these that Lucretia can't imagine this is real. To have Lup so warm and close and alive, giving her a look like she always dreamed she would. It doesn't matter what's changed between them. It doesn't matter where they even were. It mattered so much more that Lup was here, and present, and Lucretia didn't know if she could ever take her hands off her again.
She slides her hand from Lup's arm to the caress of her cheek, pressing her palm over top as if to hold her there.]
I-- of course. Look what you've already done, I'm a mess.
[But she's smiling, chuckling in a way that could only be good natured.]
I guess some parts of me are still the same. At least, whatever it is that has to do with you. I feel like we could be back on the ship.
[She wants to live here, in this moment forever, carve a life from memory and bone and the eternity she feels right now. That would be enough. That would be all she needs.]
[Lup inhales, a quick hiccup of a breath, like Lucretia's said something that's surprised her, that's hit her deep. And though her wet lips part, the look on her face so plainly showing there's something she wants to say, Lup's eyes dart from Lucretia's mouth to her eyes, then back to her mouth before she's hesitating, the words right there at the tip of her tongue.
But then the elf is tipping forward and kissing the other woman again, drowning out her unspoken thoughts with a passionate meeting of their mouths.
It hurts too much, to say she wishes that they were back on the ship, with all of their family, with all of this nasty business behind them. No voidfish eating their memories. No Taako not knowing who she is. Just back to the easy days of Barry's familiar warmth at her side. To Lucretia's shy laughter. To their family being whole and happy.
Kissing Lucretia is so much easier than dealing with her hurt.
Lup deepens the kiss, teeth grazing the woman's bottom lip, as she shifts above her, straddling over her hips, her long hair falling down around them. This is how she wants to spend her afternoon, wrapped up in this woman, not alone. She's not sure she can handle alone again.]
[She sees that. Of course she sees that, how could she not? Lucretia has had to get observant, careful, so absolutely certain of people's intentions and ideas towards her in seconds. Of course, her immediate reaction is that she's said something wrong, something that cuts instead of something that comforts. She doesn't want to do that to Lup. Never wanted to hurt her, but of course she has, when Taako is here and doesn't even know her face. Leave it to Lucretia, to have a night of flirting and fun and being in each other's arms only for her to ruin it--
As it turns out, kissing Lup is much easier than dealing with her hurt, too.
She shudders under Lup's touch, inviting her in with an open mouth and a roll of her hips to make it easy for the other woman to get comfortable. This is what she wanted for a hundred years- can't she enjoy it? Can't she be happy, at once, for herself?
Lucretia shifts her hands up Lup's chest instead of thinking further, cupping her breasts and leaving her left hand there as she moves her right up towards Lup's neck to cradle her jawline.
Forget thinking, forget-- forget the hurt. Let herself have this. Let herself have something.]
[At least that's one thing they are wholly in agreement of.
Every movement of Lucretia's screams for Lup to continue, to swoop down and consume the other woman whole, from that teasing roll of her hips, her inviting open mouthed kisses, the way she reaches for the elf's chest.
As incredible as the kissing is, nothing can really stop Lup from speaking, her lips brushing up against Lucretia's mouth with every word, kissing her between syllables.]
Someone's sure eager, huh? When's the last time you got laid, gorgeous? I gotta know what level of desperate I'm dealing with.
[The elf grins there, wide and sharp, smile stretching against Lucretia's mouth before she's diving right in for another hard kiss, hot and long, teeth gnashing together indelicately when Lup's whole body tips forward against hers.]
[She's so stuck between wanting to be swept off her feet and just telling Lup to stop fucking around already. She's been alone for a while, and that's no surprise. The fact she has a shot at this is not going to be lost on her if it kills her.
But still, she finds herself laughing a bit between times where their mouths match, even as she savors the feelings of getting to feel Lup's chest, her body on hers.]
It's-- I wouldn't say desperate, exactly.
[But y'know, Lup, don't try to pull back because she's never letting go, thanks.]
How could I not with you here, I-- how long do you plan to tease me?
[Lup falls into silence after that, pressing close to Lucretia and kissing her hard, hips grinding down against hers while slim fingers dance playfully along the other woman's sides.
She wants to revel in this beautiful feeling, of the two of them finally coming together after decades upon decades of quiet longing, warmth building up in the pit of Lup's belly and spreading out to each of her limbs. For the moment, she feels like she could stay here forever in Lucretia's bed, devouring her over and over and over, and never once feel satisfied.
In fact -
Lup steals another hard kiss from Lucretia, teeth and lips and tongue all at once, before she's pulling away with a laugh, panting softly while gazing down, soft affection lingering between the hunger in her eyes.]
[She has the feeling she wanted to be more subtle about it-- a more put together, more thoughtful response in line with the persona she's built over the years-- but also hey I just had a thought, fuck this. Lucretia is past the point of giving a shit, and Lup certainly harbors no unknowns of her. So yes, definately, absolutely.
Lucretia moves her hands again, palm over Lup's chest, fingers squeezing into soft breast and reveling in the way even that makes her head spin.]
Please. What took you so long?
[She punctuates it with a grin, playful and wanting. They have all the time in the world.]
What, been waiting long to get this bomb mouth on you, babe? I see how it is.
[It's all the permission that the elf needs, Lup swooping in for one more lingering, deep kiss to the other woman's mouth before she's pulling away with a teasing grin, sitting up straight over Lucretia and just taking a moment to survey the gorgeous view in front of her.
Lucretia is as gorgeous as ever, maybe even just a touch more now that she's more woman than girl, so powerful and sure of herself and always ready with a witty retort to throw right back at Lup. There's so much of the years that separate them that Lup doesn't know yet, so much that's happened to make Lucretia into the woman she is today, but looking down at her right now? All Lup sees is the beautiful hunger in her eyes, the comforting warmth of her skin, the attractive way she helps herself to Lup's body.
She's perfect, everything that Lup's ever imagined.]
Mm, get real comfy. [She slips down between Lucretia's legs, reaching out to give her thigh an affectionate smack.] Chagirl's 'bout to rock your world.
[It's ironic in the way she's asking Lup to move but still clinging to her before she does, learning into her mouth, reluctant to let go. Even as she's just waiting, exposed under Lup's eyes, she's left wanting to drag her back to let their bodies find contact. Instead, her arms simply fall back to the bed, hands splayed over the mattress and a grin on her lips. It's impossible to really hold herself back here, and for once, she doesn't want to. Years of reservation have prepared her for this moment, a time where she can simply enjoy what she wants.
So she shifts just enough on the bed to let Lup in, a little disbelieving that this is really happening to her in this moment.]
Well, just be careful of my hip, you know, it can get really rough for an old woman like me.
[She looks very, very serious at Lup on that, and waits to see if the elf will call her bluff. Knowing Lup, she'll understand that it's a goof- or she'll have to show her later, when they're a little more busy.]

She doesn't go to fix her clothes, though. Doesn't make a move to disturb this, to burst this bubble of what she has.

She wants to revel in this beautiful feeling, of the two of them finally coming together after decades upon decades of quiet longing, warmth building up in the pit of Lup's belly and spreading out to each of her limbs. For the moment, she feels like she could stay here forever in Lucretia's bed, devouring her over and over and over, and never once feel satisfied.
In fact -
Lup steals another hard kiss from Lucretia, teeth and lips and tongue all at once, before she's pulling away with a laugh, panting softly while gazing down, soft affection lingering between the hunger in her eyes.]
Let me eat you out.
[subtle and smooth, as always]

Yes.
